Chrysoberyl is a rare gemstone from its own independent mineral group / species. Chrysoberyl named after the Greek word for ‘golden’ (chryso) and ‘green’ (beryl). Loose Chrysoberyl are mostly light yellow in colour, although orangish, greenish and brownish verities are also found.

Chrysoberyl gemstone’s value decided depending on it’s colour saturation. Chrysoberyl also a hardest gemstone with hardness 8.5.
